Czardas composed by Vittorio Monti. 1868-1922. Arranged by Gabriel Sears. For Tuba and Piano. Chamber music. Published by Potenza Music. P2.90034. After playing through three different versions of Czardas and feeling like each version could have always had more to it, I finally decided to arrange my own version. What I was finding in the other versions that I played was the cadenza at the beginning of the piece wasn't show-stopping enough, and I felt there were more opportunities throughout the entire piece for showmanship. The final cadenza at the end is intended to give this piece and flashy and fun ending. I hope you enjoy my arrangement of Czardas. - Gabriel Sears.
