Published by Solitarius Press (S0.14940).This work, composed in 2009, is based on melodies originallyconceived as lullabies for Brittan’s son. The piece evolved into asetting of four “moods” represented by the Moon (La Lune), the Sea(La Mer), the Sun (Le Soleil) and the Night (La Nuit). These moodsare brought to life through the unique texture and harmonicconception of each movement. Landscapes has been performed by anumber of artists and was recorded by Duo Avanzando in their 2012CD “Projecting Back” which received critical acclaim. We hope youenjoy this captivating chamber work for clarinet and vibraphone.
