Quite and desolate streets in a cold grey night. Two lonely people meet each other and a love story begins. This was what I saw in my imagination while arranging this famous evergreen. The leading parts in this romantic story are played by the oboe (soprano saxophone in the fanfare band) and the euphonium. --Harald Suilen.
