Borrowing from the composer's opera themes, this two-movement work is accessible to young performers. Technical demands are balanced with equal activity in all parts. The cello and string bass lines are doubled at octaves (with separate printed parts for each). The optional Violin 3 part doubles the viola, allowing additional latitude in creating a proper ensemble balance. This work will provide a very mature sound for any group.
