Great Song, Great Arrangement!

As a fan of traditional pop music, Ive always loved "Skylark". My music clubs recent program of songs about flight was the perfect opportunity for me to perform it as a vocal solo. I prefer Singer Pro arrangements, in which the accompanist does not play the melody. MusicNotes.com offered two such arrangements of "Skylark". I felt the "Dinah Shore" version was the more interesting of the two--sultry and quite lovely. I question why it is referred to as the Dinah Shore version. Judging from her recording on YouTube, the orchestras score in no way resembles this sheet music, nor does Dinahs vocal interpretation. Perhaps there is another recording that I have not heard? But regardless, this is an outstanding arrangement, affording the singer the opportunity to improvise on timing and take liberties with the melody, thus making it her own. I highly recommend this sheet music.
